Taggia brings coastal Italian cuisine to the midst of our relaxing resort in the Sonoran desert. Enjoy seafood flown in daily, organic seasonal salads, wood oven-fired pizzas and more on our outdoor patio and let the fresh, seasonal flavors whisk you away to the shores of Italy's Liguria coastline. Although true to the tradition of Northern Italian cooking, Chef de Cuisine James Siao is inventive in his approach and use of local Arizona ingredients. Chef Siao's homemade gnocchi with braised veal, wild mushrooms and veal jus is but one example of his contemporary take on Italian classics.

For those with food allergies or special requests, Taggia is also able to serve meals with a variety of options, such as vegan friendly, vegetarian, and gluten free.

Chef de Cuisine James Siao

No stranger to Taggia's kitchen, Chef Siao worked his way up through the ranks, first as line cook and then taking on different roles until he was asked to head the kitchen in January 2009. He launched his career at an early age, whetting his appetite for cooking in his family's Ohio restaurant and went on to graduate from the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts.
